The 2026 model: Fully redesigned on the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform shared with the Sequoia and Land Cruiser, the current Tundra dropped V8s entirely in favor of a twin-turbo 3.4L V6 (badged i-FORCE) and an i-FORCE MAX hybrid version, both paired with a 10-speed automatic. The rear suspension switched from leaf springs to a coil-spring multilink setup, improving ride quality, and maximum towing rose to about 12,000 pounds when properly equipped. Cab choices are Double Cab and CrewMax (no regular cab), tech was modernized with a large available touchscreen, and the lineup added the luxury Capstone trim.
